ASSA ABLOY Door Group in Paramus, NJ is seeking an AutoCAD Technician to interpret customer requirements and translate them into detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD templates and company guidelines.
You will create shop drawings for doors, frames, hardware layouts, review plans for code compliance, coordinate with project managers and sales, and maintain accurate documentation in our systems. 2+ years drafting, associate degree, and familiarity with SolidWorks a plus.

ASSA ABLOY Door Group is expanding our Team. This role will be based out of our brand-new offices located in Paramus, New Jersey.
You will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements through various forms, creating detailed manufacturing drawings using templates and AutoCAD-based systems, engineering guidelines, and sketches according to manufacturing requirements.
The AutoCAD Technician is responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining detailed shop drawings, door schedules, frame details, and hardware layouts for commercial door opening solutions. This role supports project managers, estimators and manufacturing teams by producing accurate technical drawings and documentation that meet project specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.
