Job Description

• Use AutoCAD LT to create and edit floor plan drawings. Maintain integrity in all areas of creating and modifying drawings: object scale size, sheet size, line weights, text size/weights, and utilizing model and paper space.
• Work with the project manager on drawing development.
• Visit job sites to take measurements and collect data. Assist with the performance of site inspections and data collection.
• Ensure drawings follow project requirements and industry standards.
• Update plans when changes are needed and create final “as-built” drawings when projects are done.
• Communicate with team members to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Perform routine file management for drawing sets and their submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD LT.
• Basic understanding of construction and design.
• Ability to read and create technical drawings.
• Some knowledge of surveying and mapping is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday – expected hours: 40 per week

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
