Job summary

Champion Modular, Inc. in Liverpool, PA is seeking a detail-oriented CAD designer to create model drawings and construction drawings for homes. You will draft layouts from sketches and ensure accuracy of walls, roofs, plumbing, electrical, and foundations.

You should have an associate degree or 2–5 years of AutoCAD experience (2015+), plus proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of US building codes and collaboration with Production and QC teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2–5 years’ AutoCAD experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2015 or newer.
• Equivalent education and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Create designs from rough sketches, drawings, and customer data.
• Draft detailed construction drawings for walls, roofs, floors, plumbing, electrical, cabinets, and foundations.
• Use CAD to produce detailed drawings and layouts.
• Submit drawings to third‑party agencies for approval and permits.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality Control to resolve design issues.
• Layout, redesign, and modify home arrangements and systems.
