Job summary

RigUp, Inc. in Ponca City, Oklahoma, is seeking a Drafter I to support the Design Team by preparing and updating technical drawings using AutoCAD and related tools.

You will incorporate redlines, maintain accurate documentation, and assist with field verification to ensure alignment with engineering and operational requirements. This role requires foundational drafting experience, basic software skills, and the ability to work safely in office and refinery settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Foundational experience in drafting or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, methods, and industry practices.
• Ability to safely work in both office and industrial/refinery environments.
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability and accountability.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate redline markups from Design Technicians into AutoCAD drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Process and implement redlines from MOC documentation in support of Document Control.
• Perform general drafting and design support activities for the engineering and design team.
• Maintain drawing integrity and ensure compliance with established drafting standards and practices.
• Conduct field walkdowns to verify drawing accuracy against physical conditions when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures within both office and refinery environments.
