Job summary

Carvana is seeking Autobody Preppers to join our team in Framingham, MA. Expect to perform bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, with emphasis on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is $26-$35 per hour, with competitive benefits such as a 401(k) match, vehicle purchase discount, and robust training programs. Entry-level roles offer progression as skills grow within Carvana’s high-tech inspection centers.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and MVR check where applicable.
• Able to work in varied weather conditions and production schedules.
• Use of safety equipment such as face shields, gloves, and non-slip footwear.

Responsibilities

• Perform bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding and Bondo repair.
• Carry out roof and rocker panel repairs and minor metal pulling.
• Handle light bodywork, sanding, buffing, bumper removal/installation, and single panel repair for entry-level tasks.
• Train or supervise junior prepper staff in Experienced roles.
• Collaborate with team to meet strict vehicle turnaround goals.
