Job summary

Carvana is seeking Autobody Technicians with at least 1 year of wheel/rim repair experience. You will repair deep wheel damage, operate a wheel repair machine, and perform painting and clear-coat work to restore wheels to quality condition.

We offer a four-day work week (Mon-Thu, 6:30pm-5:30am) with a pay range of $23–$27 per hour, healthcare premiums paid by the company, and strong employment benefits including a 401(k) match and vehicle purchase discount.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license; an MVR check may apply.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Repair deep wheel damage and use a wheel repair machine.
• Paint and clear-coat wheels as part of the refurbishment process.
• Collaborate with team in a high-tech Inspection Center to ensure quality and timely vehicle readiness.

General qualifications and requirements

• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Some positions may be subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
• An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
• Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
