Job summary

Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking experienced service technicians/mechanics to support our growing service departments. We offer flat rate pay with production bonuses, immediate PTO on day 1, and a no-Saturday/Sunday schedule. An in-state driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a track record of reliability are required.

CDJR certification is a plus. We are part of Parks Automotive Group, with a goal of top-dollar pay for technicians with a strong performance record.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience required.
• CDJR certification is a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid in-state driver's license with good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment testing: background checks, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Examines customer vehicles.
• Identifies necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains CEI at or above company standards.
• Estimates cost of repairs.
• Performs repairs and maintenance per guidelines.
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Requests necessary parts.
• Provides professional customer service.
• Attains high levels of manufacturer certifications and performance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Examines customer vehicles.

• Transmission heavy-line, and engine drivability experience Pays top dollar.
• A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• Professional appearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid in-state driver's license with good driving record.
