Job summary

Automotive Avenues is seeking a skilled Auto Technician - Mechanic for a full-time role in Sewell, NJ. The position offers steady work, standard weekday hours, and the chance to advance with a growing dealership.

You will inspect, service, and repair vehicles from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, using advanced equipment. ASE certification is preferred and a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or completion of a technical program.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Own your own tools; ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair vehicles including oil changes and diagnostics.
• Tackle electrical issues using available equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Work efficiently in a steady, hands-on shop environment with team support.

We offer competitive pay from $100,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year with your choice of schedules: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Saturdays are optional, but the work is always steady-you'll have a minimum of 5 workdays per week and the option to earn more with a 6-day schedule.

THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
