Job summary

Model1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals. You will collaborate with team members and other departments to deliver reliable service.

The role requires experience in light/medium duty automotive service, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Standard hours are 40 per week with hourly pay and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus.
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL a plus).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic.

Responsibilities

Overview

Come grow with us by joining our team as a technician! In this critical role, you will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. You must have the ability to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles and an understanding of using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals. The position required experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus. We are looking for candidates with work experience in an automotive / Truck / Fleet service. Candidates must have a current Driver’s License. Position reports to the Service Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position.
• Must have good manual dexterity.
• Must have the ability to maintain a valid driver’s license, which includes successfully completing Medical Exam, Driving Test, and all other license requirements.
