Job summary

Goodyear is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Ithaca, NY, to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension and engine performance. You will work with modern diagnostic tools and collaborate with a team of skilled technicians to uphold safety and quality standards.

Minimum three years of repair experience or military vehicle maintenance is required, along with a valid driver’s license. Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays is expected.

• Three years automotive repair experience or three years in military vehicle maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, engine performance and A/C.
• Troubleshoot problems using the latest diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Mentor teammates and maintain safety, service, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires and standing for extended periods.
