Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company seeks a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands‑on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers, diagnosing issues with a mechanical aptitude and delivering outstanding service.

You'll learn to perform line services, maintenance, diagnostics, and align with Goodyear's safety policies while advancing quickly with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance and system diagnostics.
• Explain findings and provide guidance to guests, maintaining clear communication.
• Document all work on the repair order and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Support team to deliver timely service and maintain guest care during operating hours.
• Handle manual tasks including lifting and handling tires and wheels as needed.
