Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services while delivering an excellent guest experience. You will mentor teammates and stay up-to-date with rapid automotive technology in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

This role features ASE reimbursement with pay increases, ongoing training with a defined career path, a flat-rate schedule with a 75% guarantee (30 hours booked per week), a 401(k) with a 2% company match, and

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years of age and a valid driver\'s license.
• Three years of automotive repair experience including diagnosis, problem-solving and repairs.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred ASE A4 Steering & Suspension and A5 Brakes certifications and state inspection licenses (MAC acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills.
• Inspect, repair and diagnose brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, coolant systems.
• Maintain safety, quality and guest experience during all operating hours.
• Work in teams, using tools and equipment to perform automotive services.
• Lift, maneuver and work on tires and wheels for extended periods.
