Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. seeks an Automotive Technician in Loveland, CO to diagnose, repair, and service customer vehicles. You will conduct wheel alignments, state inspections, and preventive maintenance with diagnostic devices and test drives.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree or trade school credential, 3–5 years of experience, valid driver's license, and ASE/Tire Industry ATS certifications. The role offers hourly pay with service commissions and a full benefits package including

Job description

MISSION

To provide safe, quality automotive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair to customer vehicles

• Test drive customer vehicles and run diagnostic devices
• Perform accurate diagnosis of check engine, air bag, antilock, and traction control lights
• Diagnose and repair issues that cause vibration and noise
• Perform mechanical repairs of brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, electrical systems, and all other major automotive systems
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.
• Perform wheel alignment service
• Perform state safety and emissions inspections
• Perform General Service tasks as necessary
• Maintain tools and a clean work area

• Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule

• Total Compensation Range: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour*
