Morrie’s West Salem Chevrolet in West Salem, WI is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems and more. You will perform tests, drive vehicles for evaluation, and complete repair estimates as part of a fast-paced service team.

Entry level candidates with knowledge of cars are preferred; valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Full-time position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities within Morrie’s Auto Group.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes and related systems.
• Test repaired systems to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
• Drive vehicles for testing and use diagnostic equipment.
• Follow a checklist to inspect critical parts of the vehicle.

• Watch or inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems and brakes for issues.
• Use power tools to remove bolts and rebuild components.
• Use machine tools to rebuild brakes.
• Use common hand tools to work on parts.
• Write vehicle damage repair estimates.
