Job summary

Caliber Collision in Fort Worth, TX is hiring an Auto Shop Helper to assist with daily housekeeping, tool organization, and basic shop maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. The role emphasizes following Caliber SOPs, supporting spray booth cleaning, and helping keep the facility safe and orderly while lifting up to 50 lbs and performing minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have, but not required: Collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.
• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including daily emptying of waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assist in cleaning of spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary.
• Follow all guidelines in accordance with Caliber’s SOP and center procedures to complete repairs in a timely manner.
