Job summary

Caliber Collision is seeking an Auto Shop Helper to perform all-purpose duties in our production area. Responsibilities include daily housekeeping, sweeping, disposing of parts, cleaning spray booths, and organizing tools; also maintaining parking lots and grounds and performing minor maintenance when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
• Nice to have, but not required: Collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area; empty waste cans and dispose of unwanted parts.
• Sweep floors and assist in cleaning of spray booths; place tools and equipment in their proper locations.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion; assist with minor equipment maintenance.
• Follow Caliber SOPs and center procedures to enable timely repairs.
• Support a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Shop Helper to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Maintaining the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including daily emptying of waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assist in cleaning of spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location, maintaining parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion and perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary. The Auto Shop Helper will also follow all guidelines in accordance with Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures, which allows teammates to complete repairs in a timely manner. OUR AUTO SHOP HELPERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
