Job summary

Caliber Collision is seeking an Auto Shop Helper at our Capitol Heights center to perform general duties. Responsibilities include daily production-area housekeeping, waste disposal, sweeping, and organizing tools.

You will assist with cleaning spray booths and maintaining parking lots, while supporting timely repairs and following center SOPs. The position offers pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, weekly pay, overtime eligibility, and benefits from day one, plus opportunities for

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have, but not required: Collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area (empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted parts).
• Assist in cleaning of spray booths and place tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat and orderly fashion; perform minor equipment/building maintenance as needed.
• Follow Caliber’s SOPs and center procedures to complete repairs in a timely manner.

Service Center Capitol Heights - Central Ave JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Shop Helper to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Maintaining the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including daily emptying of waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assist in cleaning of spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location, maintaining parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion and perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary. The Auto Shop Helper will also follow all guidelines in accordance with Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures, which allows teammates to complete repairs in a timely manner.

OUR AUTO SHOP HELPERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
