Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic Automotive General Service Technician / Mechanic in Montgomery, TX. The role focuses on performing routine maintenance and repairs, while ensuring safety and high-quality service for guests.

You will work with a team to diagnose issues, perform inspections, and maintain accurate maintenance records. We value a positive attitude, problem-solving, and the ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; high school diploma preferred but not required.
• Current driver’s licenses.
• Able to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform maintenance and repair services (oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, etc.).
• Perform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections per state regulations.
• Troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively as part of a team.
• Complete full, honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Ensure preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations.
• Assist in housekeeping functions as directed by Management.
• Communicate extent of damage or malfunctions to the guest's vehicle with the service department.
• Promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
