Job summary

Borst Automotive is seeking a General Service Technician in Phoenix to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, and light vehicle maintenance. You will drive customers, pick up parts, and maintain a clean, organized shop while documenting vehicle conditions with company inspection orders.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a willingness to work weekends. Starting pay is $15.15/hr and up, based on experience, with benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and at least 18 years old.
• Basic understanding of under-the-hood, mechanical and under-car assemblies preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order
• Keeps shop and showroom clean and presentable
• Safely drives vehicles and transports customers, parts, and supplies as needed
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable
• Follows safety procedures and works flexible hours including weekends.
