Job summary

Greg’s Japanese Automotive is seeking a General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and related tasks under the guidance of ASE-Certified Automotive Technicians. This role offers training to advance toward ASE certification and a solid career path within the company.

The position compensates between $20 and $24 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits and advancement opportunities. Location is WA state, United States.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive experience preferred; we will consider energetic and hard-working individuals with a passion for cars.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns.
