Job summary

Heartland Tire Inc. is seeking a General Service Technician to perform oil changes, check tire pressure, and evaluate customer needs in the Service department. The role reports to the Service Manager and contributes to maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

Responsibilities include recommending tires and services to customers, assisting with cross-training, and supporting other duties as assigned by management. A valid driver's license is required, with ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ASE Certifications and/or a technical school degree are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic preventative functions such as oil changes and checks tire pressure.
• Evaluates tire pressure and ensures proper inflation.
• Recommends tires, parts and services to the Service Manager for customers.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Provides helpful, friendly and respectful customer service.
• Cross trains in other areas as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
