Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician in California to join a results-focused team. The role involves tire work, routine maintenance, inspections, and basic mechanical tasks to ensure fast, accurate vehicle service for customers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of automotive experience, a valid driver’s license, and a problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced shop environment with weekend support.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years automotive service experience including tires, oil, brakes, suspension.
• Hands-on ability with preventative maintenance and light mechanical work.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats, perform oil changes, replace filters.
• Document findings from courtesy inspections.
• Test and install batteries; diagnose and perform brake repairs.
• Handle suspension repairs and alignments; service steering systems.
• Replace under-hood components and manage shop cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with team to deliver fast, accurate service.
