Job summary

Midas general service technicians provide maintenance, inspections, and repairs for customer vehicles at our Batavia, IL facility. You’ll work independently at times and collaboratively with peers, applying ASE certifications and years of automotive repair experience to deliver quality service.

You will perform a wide range of tasks, from routine oil changes and fluid exchanges to tire service and battery replacement, while maintaining a clean, safe shop and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Entry level technicians must have automotive basics.
• Must have access to a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work independently and with peers.
• Experience with shop equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes.
• Visual safety inspections and courtesy inspections.
• Mounting, balancing and rotating tires.
• Replacing batteries.
• Changing bulbs, belts and hoses.
• Maintaining and cleaning shop areas.
