Job summary

DELLA Auto Group is seeking a Service Technician to perform repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles in a timely and safe manner. This full-time role requires a solid understanding of mechanics and automotive systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of automotive technician experience.
• ASE certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanics and automotive systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Repair and replace parts and components, such as brakes, engines, and electrical systems.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to pinpoint problems and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly and the vehicle is safe to drive.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
• Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and answering questions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.
