Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections).
• Diagnose and repair automotive issues (engines, transmissions, suspension, electrical).
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot problems.
• Provide customers with accurate service recommendations based on diagnostics.
• Ensure work meets safety standards and Colony Tire quality expectations.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate with service advisors and team members on repairs and parts needs.
• Follow up on repair orders and maintain detailed service records.
• Stay updated with new automotive technology and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions professionally.

Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while ensuring excellent customer service. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to quality work.

Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for long periods, work with hands, and lift up to 100 lbs.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The environment may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally. Employees frequently work with dirty and greasy parts and in awkward positions. The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. As a result, minor workplace injuries are not uncommon, but employees usually can avoid serious accidents if safe practices are observed.

Education:

• High school or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required.
