Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Store Manager to drive service labor, parts, and fleet sales while delivering exceptional customer service in-store. You will recruit, develop, and inspire the service and back-shop teams and ensure safe, productive operations.

You will lead day-to-day operations, maintain staffing levels, coach staff, and maintain store standards with a focus on customer satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in automotive service environment preferred.
• 2-year college or technical program or 1–3 years service-industry experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and manage a team of associates, including supervising and appraising work.
• Ensure productivity, profitability, and safe operation of the store and back shop.
• Train staff on Customer Care Process and store systems.
• Maintain staffing at optimal levels and recruit for vacancies.
• Oversee opening/closing responsibilities and cash handling policies.
• Ensure POS, inventory, and vendor processes are followed.
