Job summary

Alloy Automotive Partners is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure repairs are completed correctly and vehicles leave the shop cleaner than when they arrived. The role helps keep the shop organized, stocked, and safe while delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include performing the Quality Control Inspection and mini-clean on vehicles, maintaining cleanliness and supplies in the shop, and assisting with parts pickup and shuttle duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of passenger automobiles to identify components for checking repairs.
• Skilled in basic automotive repair skills such as tire changes or oil changes.
• Ability to get into and out of a vehicle and operate/drive it.
• Must possess a valid US Driver's License and ability to drive with passengers.
• Physically capable of tasks involving grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting (including over 50 pounds)
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours
• Capable of maintaining a fast-paced work rhythm for extended durations
• Ability to perform physical maneuvers using tools for vehicle repair and servicing
• Able to interact with customers professionally in person and for shuttle rides
• Able to read/write English on computer and paper
• Able to perform basic counting and math skills

Responsibilities

• PRIMARY: Perform Quality Control Inspection and a mini-clean on vehicles after repairs or services.
• Ensure the shop is clean and stocked, cleaning bathrooms/locker rooms, floors, and outdoor areas.
• SECONDARY: Drive Company van to pick up parts and shuttle customers as needed.
• Assist with the loaner car fleet to keep it clean and ready for rental.
