Job summary

Farm Family is seeking a Training Specialist to join our Omaha office. You will develop, monitor, and evaluate training programs for Auto Property Damage staff, create materials, and lead live and online sessions.

The role reports to the Claims Director and requires collaboration across teams to drive effective training solutions. This in-office position emphasizes independent initiative, project leadership, and ongoing improvement of training processes within a fast-paced claims environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Learning & Development, Communications, or equivalent.
  • Two or more designations/certifications in instructional design or learning & development or four additional years of related experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two combined years of experience in customer education,training, or instructional design.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements formalized training programs for entry-level and current staff in auto property damage adjusting.
  • Develops and maintains training resources and materials including reference material, multimedia aids, and eLearning.
  • Trains procedures and technology within an operational area including new-hire training and ongoing training.
  • Facilitates live and online training sessions and manages classroom dynamics.
  • Coaches and evaluates employee development and provides recommendations for improvement.
