Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative for Auto and Property Damage to process claims, assess damage, and approve payments. The role requires strong communication, organization, and analytical skills, with licensing as required for the position.

The candidate will interact with insureds, clients, and brokers, ensuring timely, accurate claim processing. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor's degree and familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and related expenses.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms; preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PC literate with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments and codes files.
• Maintains and follows action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and conducts coverage, liability, and damage analysis for claims.
