Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a part-time Salesperson to assist customers in-store and via phone, and to support the DIY business. You will be cross-trained to handle front-of-store needs when not driving, with a focus on excellent service and accurate parts knowledge.

The position requires open availability, and a clean background check and driving record. Prior retail sales experience helps, as does the ability to work weekends and a basic understanding of store systems.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers and peers.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
