Job summary

Pull‑A‑Part in Cleveland is seeking a hands-on Automotive Core Tech/Parts Puller to remove cores and parts from vehicles, inspect and maintain tools, and assist customers with part retrieval. You’ll operate hand and power tools safely on site, following SOPs and PPE guidelines.

The role emphasizes mechanical ability, customer service, and teamwork while offering on‑the‑job training and growth within a nationwide salvage yard leader.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge and basic mechanical ability.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Automotive repair, maintenance, parts removal, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
• Customer-service skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Remove automotive cores, air bags, and other designated parts from vehicles using hand and power tools.
• Pull automotive parts from vehicles for customers through our Customer Part Pulling Program.
• Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on your tools and equipment.
• Maintain wheelbarrows, hoists, golf carts, and other equipment used throughout the facility.
• Keep retail stocked with batteries, tires, radios, jacks, and other automotive items.
• Assist customers with locating and transporting larger automotive parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements.
