Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and manage COD collections. The role requires safe driving, device usage for deliveries, and secure handling of monies and equipment.

You may assist in cashiering and merchandising as needed. Expect responsibilities such as returns processing, daily vehicle inspections, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards; valid state driver’s license required.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special needs to store management; report vehicle issues promptly.
• Ensure fuel is topped up and secure vehicle at day end; clock in/out per policy.
• Assist customers as needed and support cashiering or merchandising tasks.
