Job summary

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely deliver aftermarket collision auto parts using a Sprinter van and collect payments at delivery. You will maintain strong customer relations and ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and payments.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following safety protocols and loading/unloading procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver auto parts safely using a Sprinter van and follow routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Collect payments from customers at delivery and secure cash/checks.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and address inquiries regarding deliveries/payments.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance; report issues promptly.
• Record delivery routes, payments, and mileage; submit reports as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols, load/unload safely, and prevent damage to parts.
• Inspect and ensure cargo is secured and properly loaded.
• Operate with a professional image and communicate clearly with customers.
