Job summary

XL Parts / The Parts House (TPH) is seeking a delivery driver to operate on scheduled routes, delivering parts to customer locations and handling returns and payments. The role involves loading/unloading, maintaining vehicle condition, and assisting in warehousing tasks as needed.

Requirements include a valid state driver's license and being at least 21 years old. The position requires physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license for the appropriate state.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to work/drive in wet and/or humid conditions.
• Able to use ladders for pulling parts and be exposed to outside weather and forklift environments.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily schedule provided by the dispatcher.
• Check the accuracy of parts to the invoice.
• Load vehicles and inform dispatchers of completion.
• Sign in/out of TPH's dispatching system before and after deliveries.
• Deliver parts to customer locations per scheduled route.
• Collect customer returns, empty containers and unsold merchandise.
• Collect payment from COD customers and record receipts.
• Obtain customer signature on receipts for pickup deliveries.
• Relay customer questions to the Dispatcher on return.
• Create Returned Goods Forms (RFG) and provide signed copies.
• Perform weekly vehicle maintenance checks on Mondays.
• Clean truck interior every Friday afternoon.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on routes (stock shelves).
