Job summary

A-Line Auto Parts in Austin, TX is seeking a Counter I to perform general store duties, greet customers, process invoices, handle cash, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment using a company vehicle for deliveries and pickups.

You will ring up sales, answer questions on price and availability, stock shelves, keep the showroom clean, and support training. This on-site position requires basic math, English literacy, reliable attendance, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE Counterman I training preferred.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions on price, availability and function of merchandise.
• Process invoices, accept payments, and provide accurate change.
• Deliver or pick up parts using the company vehicle as assigned by management.
• Stock shelves, ring up sales, wrap or bag merchandise, and maintain a clean store.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and assist with special orders as needed.
• Present a professional image and participate in training programs.
