Job summary

Lindsay-Automotive-Group- is seeking a full-time Parts Advisor/Parts Counter Person to join the service team in Wheaton, MD. This role focuses on fast-paced parts handling, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting technicians with parts needs.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of automotive parts experience, be computer literate, and hold a high school diploma or GED. Flexibility for evenings and Saturdays and a valid driver's license with minimal points are required.

Qualifications

• Must be customer-oriented, self-motivated team player.
• 1–2 years of automotive parts experience is a plus.
• Must be computer literate.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and Saturdays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and few to no points on driving record.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, and bill all parts.
• Maintain proper storage of parts.
• Stock shelves.
• Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones.
• Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping.
• Pick-up and delivery of parts.
• Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean.
• Maintain a superior level of customer service.
• Other duties as directed by management.
