Job summary

Boyd Group Services is seeking a Parts Coordinator in Troy, AL to manage ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning parts for repair orders. You will verify parts quality, ensure timely distribution to the shop, and maintain accurate MIS records.

The role requires 1–3+ years in automotive parts, strong customer service and organization, and I-Car registration (or progress toward Gold Class). You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a team-focused culture and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus).
• Customer service oriented and strong organizational abilities to manage pressure and conflicting demands.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan and communicate customer requests to team.
• Order and receive parts from vendors, verify quality and quantity per repair orders.
• Distribute parts to the shop in line with production schedules.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Label and track parts by RO number and monitor price changes (PPI).
• Monitor MIS for supplemental parts, manage performance of parts and vendors.
• Coordinate monthly invoice history and ensure timely filing of invoices/credit memos.
• Maintain proper profit margins by applying negotiated discounts.
