Job summary

Caliber Collision Fayetteville is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to assist in preparing vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter to ensure an efficient workflow. Duties include sanding and buffing and maintenance of the paint booth and workspace to support production in a collision repair shop.

The role emphasizes safety and quality, following OEM and Caliber standards, with opportunities for hands-on training and pathways for career growth in a production shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in coordination with the Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff as part of preparation.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace.
• Repair vehicles safely and in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards.
