Job summary

Caliber Collision Kent Island is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to support the Auto Painter in preparing vehicles for painting; duties include sanding, buffing and maintaining the paint booth.

Candidates should have 1+ years in paint operations, be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and be eligible to work in the U.S. Caliber offers weekly pay, overtime eligibility, paid vacation & holidays, and opportunities for I-CAR and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in coordination with the Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff surfaces to prepare for color application.
• Maintain the paint booth and workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with repairing vehicles to meet Caliber and OEM standards.

JOB SUMMARY Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter to ensure efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing and maintenance of paint booth and workspace. Auto Painter Helpers will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
