Job summary

Caliber Collision in Marble Falls, TX is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in collaboration with the Auto Painter, ensuring smooth workflow. Duties include sanding, buffing, and maintaining the paint booth and workspace.

The role supports high-quality repairs to meet Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of paint ops experience, be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and be eligible for

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting and ensure proper masking and setup.
• Sand and buff surfaces to achieve a quality finish.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the paint booth and surrounding workspace.
• Assist Auto Painter to repair vehicles to Caliber/OEM standards using standard equipment.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter to ensure efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing and maintenance of paint booth and workspace. Auto Painter Helpers will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.

• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
