Job summary

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Mechanic to test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' specifications. You will repair or replace engine components, brakes, steering, and airbags, and perform alignments while using state-of-the-art equipment and OEM standards.

We require 3+ years of automotive repair experience, the ability to obtain tools if needed, and a commitment to safe, thorough workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience.
• Must have or be willing to obtain proper tools to complete duties.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet performance specifications.
• Repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems.
• Perform vehicle alignments and test components using diagnostic devices.
• Work thoroughly, safely, and profitably per Caliber and OEM standards.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Mechanic to test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications, repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems and perform vehicle alignments while also testing components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices. Auto Mechanics will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
• Must be at least 18 years of age

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
