Job summary

Caliber Collision in Atlanta, Buckhead, is seeking an Auto Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and align vehicles to manufacturer specifications using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Expect responsibilities including testing and adjusting systems, and performing engine, brake, steering, and airbag repairs.

The role offers competitive hourly pay of $26-$30 plus weekly pay, overtime eligibility, paid vacations, and ongoing training (I-CAR/ASE).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience.
• Must have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications.
• Repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems and perform vehicle alignments.
• Test components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices.
• Repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Mechanic to test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications, repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems and perform vehicle alignments while also testing components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices. Auto Mechanics will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment.

OUR AUTO MECHANICS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

• $26-$30 per hour/Flag hour turned

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
• Must be at least 18 years of age

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
