Sheehy Auto Stores in Fredericksburg is seeking Automotive Express Lube Technicians to join our growing service team. You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes and basic inspections with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Technical School Certificate preferred.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Desire to move up with the company; this is a job that provides growth and opportunity.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks (MVR, drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and other maintenance services.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems
• Properly fill out a multi-point inspection on vehicles, prioritize needs and recommendations for the customer, and relay this information to the service advisor
• Must keep the vehicle you are working on clean and free of grease and oil
• Maintain an organized, neat, and safe bay
• Ability to road test vehicles (manual & automatic transmissions)
• Applies proper use of PPE and adheres to safety standards in the shop environment.
