Job summary

Georgica Auto Holdings is seeking a diligent Porter to support the overall operational efficiency and cleanliness of our facilities. This role ensures a positive and organized environment for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining showrooms and restrooms, moving vehicles as needed, stocking supplies, and assisting service with fueling or washing. You will report issues promptly and support event setups to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous porter/janitorial/general labor experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of showrooms, service areas, restrooms, and common areas.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
• Assist with movement and organization of vehicles on lot and within service bay.
• Ensure supplies (paper towels, soap) are stocked in restrooms and common areas.
• Support service department by driving vehicles for fueling, washing, or relocation.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with special event setups and breakdowns as required.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth facility operations.
