Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in Florida to train as an auto glass technician and earn the Safelite SafeTech certification. The program blends hands-on practice with classroom learning to develop skills in glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations.

You will embody the Safelite Spirit with a can-do attitude and a service mindset while delivering high-quality work. Starting pay is competitive and weekly, with clear pathways to advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• Able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to policies.
