Job summary

Car Center Cedar Springs is seeking a Detail/Porter to support our auto body operations. The role involves detailing vehicles before and after repairs, transporting cars, and keeping the shop clean and organized in a fast-paced environment.

You will complete inspection checklists, assist with mobility around the lot, and ensure vehicles are secure at close. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Clean and valid driver’s license required for company insurance purposes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong sense of urgency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Detail customer vehicles before and after body repairs are completed.
• Complete Pre/Post Inspection Checklists.
• Transport vehicles in and out of the body shop.
• Transport customers to and from the body shop as needed.
• Clean up shop and parking areas as directed.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Move boxes and materials to bins (lift over head).
• Ensure all client vehicles are secured at day’s end.
