Job summary

OnSite Dealer Solutions in Lawrence, KS is seeking an Automotive Detailer to clean and refurbish vehicles per customer specifications. Compensation ranges from $150–$200 per day, paid weekly, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1 year of automotive detail experience preferred.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for interacting with employees, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down door jams.
• Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surface.
• Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents and devices.
• Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Inspects vehicles for dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Restores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces.
• Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Uses SERV VIN Order System.
• Understanding and delivering to the specific requirements of the customer.
• Coordinating work with team members.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Reports safety issues to management.
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
