Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Loves Park, IL is seeking a Porter to support the collision and glass service teams. You will keep the shop and office clean, prepare vehicles for delivery, and help move cars to sublet locations as needed.

This entry-level role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, plus valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior, including trash, floors, and countertops.
• Pre-washes and cleans customer vehicles before and after repairs.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds neatly.
• Operate and move vehicles safely; assist with tools and equipment as needed.
