Job summary

Tom Kadlec Honda in Rochester, MN is seeking an Automotive Detailer to join our team. The role is part-time, Tue-Fri 8:00am-2:00pm and Sat 8:00am-5:00pm, with starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

You will wash, vacuum, shampoo, wax and buff vehicles, keep interiors clean, apply protective finishes, and help maintain a state-of-the-art facility. Benefits include PTO, IRA options with company match, health/dental/vision, and ongoing training for advancement.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Wash the exterior and interior of a vehicle according to the customer's wishes.
• Shampoo & vacuum interior (seats, rugs, trunk, roof).
• Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines.
• Vacuum to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains.
• Apply dyes, paints and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles.
• Cleaning and removing any grease on engines or engine compartments.
