Job Summary

The Detailers role is to prepare vehicles for the auction by performing a variety of vehicle reconditioning tasks including interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, pre-wash, buffer, and quality control.

Hourly Rate: $18.00

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Title: Detail Technician I

Responsibilities

• Work in team units tasked with vehicle cleaning, detailing, and sale‑ready preparation.
• Learn and apply proper techniques for exterior and interior cleaning processes.
• Learn and apply vehicle inspection techniques to maintain proper standards.
• Prepare for advanced detailing techniques.

Qualifications

• Clean background and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ready to perform physical activities ranging from light to medium physical work, including frequent standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, and talking.
• Potential for running, jumping, yelling, or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations.
• Visual acuity requirements: color, depth perception, and field of vision comparable to those required for clerical, administrative, and machine operator positions.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions such as temperature changes, weather, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems (fumes, odors, dust). These conditions are associated with internal and external service station and petroleum dispensing operations.
